Call an external Java class from a map rule
The JEXIT function provides a means to interface with a method in an external Java class. Use this function to manipulate simple primitive types, simple objects, and complex objects.
Bi-directional code locale support
The bi-directional code locale support handles differences in the ordering and in other associated text presentation characteristics during the transformation of your bidirectional data.
Use the following bidirectional functions to convert text objects that have bidirectional properties: SETLOGICALORDER, SETVISUALORDER, SETORIENTATIONLTR, SETORIENTATIONRTL, SETTEXTSHAPING, and SETTEXTSHAPINGOFF.
To define a text object as bidirectional, you will set the Item Subclass > Bidirectional property for that object in the type tree.
When you set the Item Subclass for a text object as Bidirectional, you can select options for symmetric swapping, ordering, orientation, and shaping.
Iterative evaluation of component rules
The BINDABS function is available for you to use in a component rule to bind multiple references to the same instance of a component in a rule, and to make sure that the rule is evaluated iteratively using all possible combinations of type reference
Type tree bytes to characters conversion (tbcconv) utility command :
tbcconv is a utility command that you can use to automatically convert certain objects in a type tree sized in bytes to characters from the command line.
